By disrupting the traditional supply chain, where most florists operate offline and have done for decades. bloomon creates seasonal bouquets using unusual stems to deliver unique flower arrangements on repeat. We always use field-fresh high-quality flowers straight from the grower and deliver to our customers through a high-tech and highly creative platform. Our e-commerce company launched in Amsterdam in 2014 and went from start-up to scale-up at hypersonic speed. We are already active in five countries: the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, the UK, and Denmark. Next step? To conquer Europe… and then the world. Our goal? We leave no leaf unturned as we develop and roll out our strategies to cherry-pick the top talent with backgrounds in business, IT, design and floral expertise. We welcome new recruits as they start their journey with us. We drive their happiness and personal growth along the way as trusted points-of-contact. We coach managers on how to get the best out of their team. And also shape and optimise the great company culture and working conditions of our scale-up.
What will you do?
As a HR trainee, you will work closely together with our Head of People, Office & Happiness Manager and Recruiter. Within a fast-growing environment various HR issues arise. To be able to respond quickly we’re constantly building and improving our HR blocks - an example of this is our recently launched HR Handbook. As many questions are answered in this handbook, we have created extra time to dive into unknown issues and come up with cool initiatives (onboarding, bootcamps, knowledge-sharing sessions, ping pong contests) to boost our employee happiness. Switching between those various cases requires an absolute can-do mentality.
