Professional Services is a core component of Customer Success at Brandwatch. As we continue our global expansion, we are hiring a customer-focused Junior Social Media Analyst to join our dynamic Professional Services team in Brighton.This is an exciting opportunity that offers hands-on work and the flexibility to learn, grow, and develop in the constantly changing landscape of social intelligence.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Wants to work with a wide variety of brands and use-cases
  • Prefers a hands-on, forward-thinking approach
  • Is comfortable working independently in a deadline-driven environment

In this role, you will:

  • Become a proficient user and advocate of the Brandwatch product suite
  • Implement effective social media measurement solutions on behalf of Brandwatch clients
  • Collaborate with senior colleagues to execute large, complex or novel solutions
  • Perform quality assurance on the work of 3rd party contributors to identify and correct data quality or validity issues
  • Attend client meetings as a subject-matter specialist, and represent your own work in a clear, engaging manner
  • Coordinate scheduling with our top-class Project Management team
  • Provide feedback to guide new product development

You should have:

  • 6+ months experience working independently in an office environment (or similar)
  • Strong time-management and task-management skills
  • Computer literacy, including experience with Microsoft/Google suites (spreadsheets, presentations, documents) and familiarity with social media platforms
  • A degree in an analytical or business-related subject (such as marketing/market research, data analytics, business analytics, linguistics, natural sciences, computer science, engineering, economics, maths, statistics, etc.), or equivalent experience
  • Ability to accomodate occasional domestic and international travel
  • Authorisation to work in the UK without visa sponsorship

Icing on the cake:

  • Familiarity with social media data, social analytics platforms, or unstructured text data
  • Familiarity with basic statistical concepts (distributions, significance, sampling)
  • Fluency in another language (or two!) would be a bonus
