Our Role

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the whole project process from the Opportunity Assessment through Project Execution, Service Integration and Closure for business function changes or IT Infrastructure changes in compliance with the organisations project lifecycle and controls framework. You facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables based on customer’s needs.

Using professional project management disciplines, processes and tools, you will provide project management expertise; work closely with our customers to plan, schedule and deliver projects, provide direction and support to the project team members, define project tasks and resource requirements. When needed you effectively manage escalation of issues/road blocks and ensure resolution.

Responsibilities include

  • Manage a comprehensive Implementation Project Plan
  • Implement and maintain project schedules, schedule monitoring and forecasting
  • Perform appropriate and timely follow-up with both the customers and internal areas to ensure project plan is progressing as scheduled; conduct meetings when necessary
  • Implement and maintains detailed project budget and detailed budget monitoring and forecasting
  • Provide integrated change control via an established change control process
  • Provide comprehensive and on-going RAID (Risk, Assumption, Issue, and Dependency) management
  • Implement and maintains project documents, and meeting notes
  • Work with management to determine resource needs and availability and conflicts; negotiate these with functional managers to resolve outstanding project-related issues
  • Provide recommendations and communications for Risk and Issue management; act as the primary negotiator for conflict resolution
  • Conduct formalised post implementation project reviews
  • Utilise generally accepted/recognised project management methodology and practices

Your Skills and Experience

You are currently working as a Project Manager. You love interacting will be people, speaking with customers and working closely together with your colleagues. Your excellent interpersonal, influencing, communication and organizational skills help you to meet customers' requirements. You will be working with customers throughout Ireland and the United Kingdom and you speak English fluently. We also ask the suitable candidate to have the following:

  • Extensive experience of managing IT projects from a budget management and technical delivery perspective c.€500K-€1M.
  • Strong leadership skills; able to develop and motivate a project team
  • Outstanding customer relationship management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; solid speaking, facilitation, and presentation skills
  • Highly organised; can handle multiple projects concurrently; demonstrated proficiency in Planning, Needs Assessment, and Project Management
  • Prince2, PMP, or CAPM certification or equivalent experience preferred
