This role will involve a lot of travel and potential overnight stays away from home. It is expected that there will be around 80% travel, with circa 185 days on the road per year. The account base will be within the UK & Ireland working directly with end users & specialist partners within the market.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are recruiting for a B2B Sales Development Business Executive to join our Imaging Team. The successful candidate will drive direct end user contact, engagement, and sales results, by building Panasonic’s presence within sectors such as Education, Government and Blue Lights for the Digital Imaging Product Portfolio. They will also be responsible for researching and identifying New Markets for Panasonic to enter through our unique product portfolio, and developing a business plan for profitable growth in the B2B Imaging market. As well as liaising with internal colleagues in various countries to develop new products or firmware to meet the needs of the market and secure new business opportunities

Success in this role will be determined by the development of a business pipeline, and the accumulation of sales conversion against targets / prospects. You will be responsible for providing and presenting a monthly report to the top management team, showing the pipeline of sales with expected conversion rates and target dates. You will also be expected to have existing knowledge, or to quickly learn about Panasonic’s Digital Imaging Products and the B2B Photo & Video Market.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Key Requirements for this role:

  • Experience of working as a B2B / Vertical Key Account Manager managing key accounts for a Branded organisation ideally within the Imaging Market.
  • A good knowledge and passion for Professional Imaging Technology would be beneficial.
  • Experience of working within the Education Sector or other B2B vertical would be beneficial.
  • Negotiating, influencing and presentation skills – to an internal and external audience.
  • Strong work ethic, desire to exceed expectations.
  • Project management and account planning and negotiation skill.
  • Budget management – planning, investment planning and target achievements.
  • A full driving license allowing you to drive in the UK
