You enable your sales colleagues to spend their time more effective and efficiently. You ensure that we have the right tools and processes in place, and you come up with innovative ideas and suggestions to realize our business goals.

Your job

5CA has been experiencing double digit growth throughout the past few years, which means that our sales department has grown in a similar fashion. As we anticipate further growth, there is a strong need to put a solid structure in place for our sales team. We’re aiming to hire a seasoned professional in sales operations, who makes sure that our sales team is equipped with the right tools.

As an integral part of our sales team located at our HQ in Utrecht, The Netherlands, you enable our sales department to achieve more, with less effort. You continuously align between the sales team and supporting departments to develop, maintain and expand a library of sales tools and materials. You’re the business owner of our CRM system (Microsoft Dynamics) and ensure that it facilitates our sales efforts. You analyze sales data to come up with ideas and suggestions to improve our sales process. You report to our Sales Director, based out of The Netherlands.

An overview of main tasks & responsibilities:

  • You continuously finetune and optimize 5CA’s sales processes. You identify and eliminate sales process bottlenecks and inconsistencies;
  • You own 5CA’s CRM: optimize usage, manage reporting, solve issues, coordinate training materials;
  • You align with 5CA’s Marketing team to ensure an always up-to-date sales materials library (presentations, one-pagers, videos, case studies, proposal templates, contract templates);
  • You optimize 5CA’s sales tools (tech stack);
  • You develop, maintain and optimize pricing calculators used for pricing proposals;
  • You ensure that sales forecasting and budget files are always up to date and closely align on this with other department (like finance);
  • You work with sales management and other departments to develop sales incentive programs and compensation planning;
  • You set up and maintain a competitive intelligence library / knowledge base;
  • You assist with other administrative tasks for the sales department.

  • Commercial. You have a good understanding of B2B sales and know what it takes to manage a sales cycle;
  • Analytical. Excellent ability to analyze and solve problems. You’re create useful sales reports which help us manage and optimize our sales efforts;
  • Entrepreneurial. You’re a self-starter and proactively come up with ideas and suggestions. You have a strong work ethic, desire to learn and be challenged;
  • Personable. Able to interface with our sales team, internal teams and executive leadership;
  • Ambitious. You have the skills & ambition to develop into a leadership role.

Requirements

  • Proven track record and at least 3-5 years of experience in sales and/or sales operations;
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant studies, or equivalent related experience;
  • Advanced CRM experience (Microsoft Dynamics preferred);
  • Fluent English speaker;
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to simplify and explain complex analyses.
