Different disciplines in the Graduate Programme

Join the Shell Graduate Programme and we’ll match you to a discipline that fits with your skills and ambitions. We have many options available:

  • Within our Commercial Business/Corporate Functions area, you’ll work with some of our sharpest minds to drive our growth and performance. We are especially in search of people with an interest in Finance, Contracting & Procurement, Communications or Supply Chain.
  • In the Technical area you’ll join our world-class technical team, working on some of the most exciting projects in the world. Whether you are an Engineer or Scientist, you can start in disciplines like IT, Mechanical (Static) Engineering, Rotating Equipment Engineering, Process Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Maintenance Engineering, Process Control Technology, R&D or Geoscience.

What you’ll need

  • A university Master's Degree; if you have some initial experience on your CV and considering a 2 nd step in your career we encourage you to explore the Shell Graduate Programme. Your gained work experience provides you a solid ground to kick start your career within Shell.
  • You have the intellectual, analytical, and creative ability to learn quickly; you can identify issues and propose innovative solutions. 
  • You are a high-achiever full of curiosity, self-confidence and organizational skills. 
  • You are a strong communicator who works well within a team, respects others and encourages and supports colleagues.
