Your internship

As part of the BLADE Team, you have the unique opportunity to participate in the development of Heineken’s commercial draught beer systems globally.

The internship focuses on giving you great understanding of how to support operating companies of Heineken through platforms and tools to build, accelerate and expand our draught beer business.

Some of your responsibilities are:

  • Continuous development of BLADE web shops to accelerate e-commerce next to offline routes-to-markets
  • Development of commercial assets to support ATL and BTL initiatives of BLADE at Global and Operating Companies level
  • Sharing of a Quarterly newsletter to all BLADE stakeholders across the company
  • Work with logistic providers to ship sample BLADE appliances and kegs on time and in full to new markets for trials and pilots
  • Weekly reporting of sales performance in Excel and Microsoft Power BI

Your working environment

As an intern in the BLADE team, you will report to the Commercial Director, Draught Systems, and you will be positioned at the Global office in Amsterdam. Your team consists of people with different nationalities whom all share the same passion and drive for innovation and success.

Your profile

We are looking for a dedicated, hardworking and outgoing person, enrolled in a university throughout the entire period of the internship and with a keen interest in the world of innovation management; you can combine strategy and creativity in your work approach. Moreover, you are a people’s person, always willing to be of service to your colleagues and other stakeholders.

Furthermore, you are studying towards your Bachelor or Masters in the areas of Business Administration, Business Communication, Marketing and Innovation.

Also the ideal candidate has:

  • An excellent grasp and control of the English language. Second language is always a plus
  • Persuasive and proficient communication 
  • (Innovation) Management and People skills
  • Event planning experience
  • Creative writing skills
  • Expertise in using Microsoft Office applications with particular focus on Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Analytical skills and view
