You will be working closely with our CEO and VP of Operations and be in charge of spearheading, coordinating and overseeing the Echobox marketing and PR strategy. You will develop and implement strategies in order to ultimately grow our client base and our media coverage. You will need a passion for making connections, the publishing industry and for achieving real results. You will be comfortable with analysing data and performing A/B testing in order to calculate and maximise the ROI on all our marketing channels. This role allows a high degree of creativity, autonomy and freedom to explore and experiment with various strategies and tools to drive growth, engage existing users, and turn Echobox into a well-known and respected brand within the publishing industry.

Responsibilities

  • Defining and implementing marketing & PR strategies to support the company’s overall strategies and objectives
  • Planning and organising marketing functions and operations (branding, communications etc.), and ensure they project the company’s unique “voice”
  • Designing and coordinating promotional campaigns, PR and other marketing efforts across channels (digital, press etc.)
  • Build a highly efficient team of marketing professionals

Requirements:

Academic Requirements

  • Minimum 2.1 degree (or equivalent) from a top tier university
  • Fluent written and spoken English

Required Skills and Experience

  • A passion and enthusiasm for PR, journalism, new innovations and making connections
  • Some experience in producing both written and graphic content and PR/marketing materials
  • A good understanding of basic statistics and data analysis
  • Familiarity with Excel or other basic data handling and analysis software
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite software or similar creative software packages
  • An ability and desire to learn new skills quickly
  • Willingness to adapt and switch between different aspects of the PR and marketing strategy
  • Ability and confidence to be a self-starter, pose new ideas, and engage with with key people within the publishing industry

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in B2B marketing
  • Proven track record of generating quality inbound leads and turning them into paying customers
  • Some experience with digital marketing and PR within the publishing sector
