  • Balance security with accessibility.
  • Own the big picture; understand every detail.
  • Complex but simple.

Welcome to Product at ZIVVER!

We expect you to have an opinion on product. We expect you to raise the necessary questions regardless of who is in the room. We expect you to bring solutions. We expect you to work with small teams but service the mass. We expect you to be pragmatic with development. We expect you to value secure communication. We expect you to never lose user focus.

In other words, we expect you to go #likearocket

Hot take

  • #likeaturtle is not in your hashtag dictionary.
  • Making impact gets you out of bed… while broken customer journeys keep you up.
  • Holistic trade-offs are what you make, knowing which requirements are non negotiable.
  • You embrace the chaos and bring clarity.
  • You understand the tricky balance between getting it right and getting it out the door.
  • You think like an entrepreneur but acknowledge your rocket is slower than ours

A day at HQ

It’s Friyay! You start the day by looking at the product board. You quickly make a to-do list of your to-do list. As you are always prepared for unexpectedness, you also do a quick check for new fires that need to be put out.

While sipping your coffee you kick-off your scheduled ‘MakeTime’, creating product insights by analysing Shipright entries. You write new user stories while thinking about the necessary requirements: involve which stakeholders, what is the user trying to achieve, does it align with product vision, when should it be delivered?

At 11 AM you join your team's daily stand up to see if there is anything blocking them that you could help solve. Nothing there? Great, making progress here! Time to inform and hand out some compliments, the new shipped feature is really hitting it’s KPIs! Time to check in with Anabel, QA lead, to walk her through the stories that are up-for-testing... the devil is in the detail.

After enjoying a free lunch at the Humming Bar you’re meeting with the development and design team to discuss possible solutions for one of the user insights. You repeatedly challenge them on our core principles (smart, simple & secure) and afterwards you meticulously update the requirements in the user story to make sure everything is clear and complete.

Next one up! You have your weekly check-out with the other POs and Olivier to go over the week. What did you work on, what do you plan to do next, what things went well and what things need some more fire and focus?

The day is drawing to an end. You’re about to close your laptop when Lilian drops in, asking if you’re up for a beer at the Humming Bar. It’s been quite a week, so that seems like an awesome plan! She is about to demo a new kick-ass feature and you are happy to share your two cents.
