You will be excited to take the next step in your career with an ambitious and innovative organisation, working together to developed you into a highly skilled first line manager through a combination of a structured development programs and practical application of operational plant activities

This role is working with British Gypsum where you will be responsible for supporting the plant's safety, WCM and performance improvement activity whilst learning more about the business, operations, and critical functions of our Barrow site.

In the role as a Production Graduate you will;

  • Have a strong focus on Health and Safety, and through the development process support the delivery of production safety improvement activity.
  • Develop techniques to coach and support operators, and support the shift manager’s activity in operator competency assessment
  • Gain a practical understanding about leading project activity following the stage and gate methodology
  • Gain a basic knowledge of the equipment and processes used in the manufacturing processes.

As this is a graduate role in a technical environment, we would like you to be educated to degree level, in a scientific or engineering subject with a basic awareness of manufacturing principles. Some industry experience would be a bonus and help you really hit the ground running.
