So what will you be doing?

We are searching for commercial and communicative candidates who are proactive and passionate about travel, data and mixed with a little bit (ok...a lot) of technology.

You are an entrepreneur

As a Withlocals Account Manager you have the responsibility for the overall performance and quality of the destinations in your portfolio. You will build long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with hosts in these destinations, always striving to find new opportunities. Your goal is to build a well performing and competitive portfolio of experiences. You improve existing offers and find ways to creatively grow the portfolio to maximize bookings.

You love data

You take your decisions by combining Arts (you just know something will work) and Science (the data). You research and analyze performance and industry data to identify the best opportunities for your portfolio. You also collaborate with other departments and collect information, such as marketing trends, keyword potential and search volumes.

To succeed in this position, You should have exceptional entrepreneurial, communication and problem-solving skills. You should be resourceful, analytical, adaptable, and organized with the ability to build rapport with other stakeholders.

Your responsibilities

  • End responsible for the performance of one or more cities
  • Building and maintaining strong, lasting relationships with hosts
  • Collaborating with internal departments to facilitate portfolio needs
  • Understanding data to learn more about consumer behavior.
  • Tracking inventory, availability, host performance and overall portfolio performance.
  • Work towards achieving portfolio targets.
  • Maintaining updated knowledge of company products and services.
  • Resolving complaints and preventing additional issues by improving processes.
  • Identifying industry and city specific trends.
  • Acting as a host advocate with a focus on improving the user experience.
  • Become the go-to expert on the destinations in your portfolio

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Masters degree
  • 5+ years experience in sales, communications, travel & tourism or related field.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • You love data! Ability to collect, track, and analyze large amounts of data.
  • Adaptability and strong problem solving skills.
  • Excellent active listening skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and collaborate with others within the company and externally.
  • Understanding of consumer behavior and industry trends.
  • Understanding of technology platforms and sharing economies is a plus
