SEO Account Executive

Job Description:

This role provides an exciting opportunity to work as an SEO Executive for a leading online fashion brand at the UK’s number 1 digital performance agency. The position sits within a team of specialists focused on providing best-in-class SEO services.

This role will prove challenging and rewarding to candidates with industry experience, providing a platform to take on more responsibility with account management, strategy and team building.

At its core the purpose of the SEO Executive is to:

  • Support the Director and Managers to produce and deliver on-site and off-site strategies
  • Act as a mentor to junior members of the team, taking charge of their training and supporting their development
  • Manage their time independently and work autonomously
  • Co-ordinate with internal and external stakeholders to produce deliverables that are both on-time and in line with clients’ expectations
  • Contribute to strategy meetings and work with specialist teams across Technical SEO, Content and Outreach to produce exceptional campaigns that can be scaled globally
  • Support the Managers with the day-to-day client contact, status calls, quality assurance and producing easy-to-follow briefs for the internal team.
  • Support Managers and Directors with new business pitch preparation and, where required, pitch delivery

Key Accountabilities

Account & Team Support

  • Support SEO Managers and Directors in the delivery of performance insights, technical SEO and optimisation activities.
  • Co-ordinate team deliverables. Brief internal teams; manage timelines and final deliverable consistency and quality.
  • Liaise with client(s) and maintain strong relationships.
  • Participate in weekly and monthly performance reviews.
  • Answer client queries and escalate issues to Managers/Director as appropriate.
  • Take responsibility for the development of Analysts and Executives in team

Strategic Focus

  • Collaborate with the SEO client team and the Account Director to translate business direction and assimilate goals into actions.
  • Identify opportunities and work with the client and team to implement and measure performance impact.
  • Contribute to the ongoing strategy
  • Demonstrate knowledge of ranking algorithms and optimisation techniques for search engines.
  • Communicate with peers internally to adjust priorities in line with changes to best practice.
  • Provide updates to the client when relevant changes occur in the industry
  • Actively drive innovation by feeding requirements and ideas into the testing framework for SEO. Proactively suggest new propositions and product execution solutions that keep iProspect SEO a leader versus its peers.

Personal Specification

The successful candidate will possess the following:

  • Thorough understanding of how successful SEO campaigns are constructed and delivered
  • Ability to work well as a team and individually, often to strict deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills internally and with the client contact – presenting with impact, developing internal and external relationships while resolving any conflicts with team and Account Director support
  • An inquisitive nature, with an intense desire to learn more about International SEO and the global marketplace
  • Strong understanding of clients’ business to identify areas to resolve as well as trends
  • Proficient knowledge of technical SEO and ability to produce on-site audits
  • Desired understanding of front-end website development and CMS environments
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Experience of using industry tools/platforms, including STAT, Searchmetrics, Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics and Google Search Console
