JOB PURPOSE

Working at our Chatham Place store.

A dual role, Sales Associate and Visual Merchandising. In addition to Sale Associate responsibilities support in the execution and maintenance of Burberry Visual Merchandising guidelines within assigned retail store, in partnership with the store team, Visual Merchandiser and Visual Merchandising Manager. Ensure that corporate visual standards are maintained through an underlying commitment to always putting the brand first, being customer centric and driving productivity. Being an ambassador for Visual Merchandising to drive greater ownership in store through supporting the VM Manager with training and day to day queries from retail colleagues, and feeding back to store leads on daily VM actions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop understanding of Visual Merchandising corporate guidelines and monthly Delivery launch deck
  • In partnership with the store team, assist in executing the monthly corporate Visual Merchandising guidelines and monthly Delivery across assigned retail store.
  • Support the Visual Merchandiser/Visual Merchandising Manager to plan and implement bi-monthly window displays, monthly window refreshes and in-store installations according to corporate standards and timelines
  • Assist with the set-up of BPC and Partner Events in store
  • Support store leadership to ensure the store is presented in an elevated and luxury way by being detail orientated and understanding the client experience, through the windows, special installations, product placement, etc.
  • Work with the store team to ensure key investments are represented in a brand approved way
  • Provide on-going display maintenance staff training
  • Work in a neat and tidy way, ensuring there is little to no disruption of the shop floor during trading hours, by building a close partnership with the merchant and store BOH teams so that product is back-stocked appropriately
  • Be familiar with Delivery standards and communicate concepts to the store team
  • Assist with placing late product deliveries, replacing sold out items on the shop floor, and removing or adding items to mannequins
  • Be responsible for the VM tools BOH organization
  • Support the overall store lights up keeping
  • Support with providing photographic requests to the Regional and Central VM teams
  • Be familiar with all Burberry visual communications, guidelines, best-practice documents and brand initiatives
  • Along with the store team, continue to maintain visual standards and consistency with VM guidelines throughout the day
  • Be creative and put forward visual ideas and suggestions, elevating standards through creative styling
  • Liaise with Regional VM team to make best visual decisions for local clients within the global vision

PERSONAL PROFILE

  • Confident, with exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate and problem-solve
  • Strong attention to detail and the passion to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Basic understanding of Visual Merchandising, with experience gained preferably at a high-end luxury level.
