This cohesive and highly successful primary school are looking to expand their graduate team and give their children more opportunity to achieve their potential, whilst developing your teaching skills and ability prior to teacher training.

If you are committed to education and gaining worthwhile experience in a warm and welcoming primary school, then this school is for you!

This is a highly important role for this school and will see you providing support inside and outside of the classroom in Key Stage 2 Maths. The role is centred on maths pre-teach, which essentially means you support children in maths topics, prior to them learning the topic in their lesson. This gives them the opportunity to develop their skills and confidence to take back to the classroom and progress further. There is a strong emphasis on the use of resources and creativity to help them grasp concepts and retain the information.

In addition to this, you will be supporting and motivating children with SATS preparation and more generally literacy and numeracy support. Once you become more confident you will be able to take on elements of cover to develop you own flair as a Primary School Teacher and help you to decide whether this is the right opportunity for you.

You will need to have strong communication and organisation skills, in order to support the class teacher and wider school environment.

This school offer fabulous benefits including pay of up to £325 per week, term time only and sociable working hours of Monday to Friday. You will have access to all staff training, and even the opportunity to see open and parent evenings to gain a real insight into the world of education.

In order to apply for this role, you will have a strong academic background that includes a minimum of a 2:1 degree, and strong A Levels, as well as some transferable experience with children or young people.

The school is located in the Selly Oak area of Birmingham and has huge amounts of experience working and developing graduates into the future generation of fabulous teachers!

Here at I-Teachers we try very hard to make our approach refreshingly different!
