    The 5% CLUB
The 5% Club supports hiring more apprentices and graduates into the UK workforce. It’s made up of public and private sector organisations that want to make the UK more competitive globally and to give young people the best opportunities. And we’re proud to call ourselves a member.

Babcock is committed to honouring the Armed Forces Corporate Covenant and supporting the Armed Forces community. Whether it’s serving personnel (regular or reservists), veterans or military families, we want to recognise the contribution they make to our business and country. That’s why we’re an armed-forces friendly employer and always proud to show our support.

We take diversity seriously. We firmly believe that a diverse workforce and an inclusive culture is an essential part of a healthy and progressive business, and so is something we actively encourage. 7. What's in it for you

    What's in it for you

We offer competitive starting salaries to all our graduates. Depending on your location, role and qualifications, you can expect to start on anything between £28k and £30k. We also operate a contributory company pension scheme.

Graduate trainees enter into a structured development programme. This will see you experiencing different parts of your chosen area through rotational placements and attending on-the-job development modules to accelerate your learning throughout the programme. At all points of your journey, you’ll be supported. This support comes from a graduate 'buddy' during your initial few months and a formal mentor to advise and guide you through the programme, in many cases leading to professional registration, such as Chartership.

With a large community of graduates throughout the business, there’s always something happening at Babcock. We have clubs and societies in many locations, and you’ll have plenty of opportunities to get involved in inspiring charity and community events. Graduates are also at the forefront of our STEM Ambassador programme, which promotes technical subjects in schools throughout the UK.
