POSITION PURPOSE

We are looking for an exceptional team member to support the Regional Learning Lead and the Global Delivery Manager in the achievement of new Learning services offerings and events across EMEA. Learning events blend instructional design methodologies for both sales and technical audiences across the portfolio of Enterprise Asset Intelligent solutions we offer. The Learning Specialist intern will be responsible for supporting the day to day activities of the Zebra Knowledge Centre - EMEA in administering the regional learning offerings and be involved in the marketing, hosting, logistics and measurement of the impact of these experiences. The opportunity is focused 70% of the time on Channel Partner learning experiences and 30% on internal associate learning experiences (in house learning experiences for employees).

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Logistics experience: Supply Chain Support to the Training Coordinator: organizing shipments of learning equipment as needed, including picking, packing and labelling and tracking equipment needed for learning events. Limited lifting of required equipment for shipments is part of the job –typically between 2 kilograms and 18 kilograms.
  • Customer services experience: handling Support to the Training Coordinator: via managing the learning email box (internal/external requests) when Training Coordinator is away.
  • Data research experience: Tracking Channel Partner evaluations on Web Analytics tools for IS0-90001 compliance and continuous improvement of learning services process.
  • Metrics/Analytics experience: development/reporting on effectiveness of learning events and outcomes.
  • Experience hosting Collaborative events: Setting up and running Virtual learning sessions and recording them upon request.
  • Discovering and using your top skills/strengths in the role while addressing growth gaps.
  • Marketing experience: through creative creation of learning announcements in various media formats: Video, Social Media, and Infographics.
  • Practical use of Zebra printing equipment: including Label printing and Android Mobile Computers
  • Cross-functional learning opportunities with HR/Marketing/Sales/Quality and Business Operations.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Current University student studying for an Undergraduate Degree
  • Interest in Learning and Development design and delivery
  • Second European Language preferred, but not essential
  • Self-starter who enjoys working in a team to accomplish goals
  • Demonstrates a willingness and aptitude for learning
  • Good attention to detail
  • Excellent skills and experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to work collaboratively with others.
