This is a remarkable opportunity to play a key part in the growth of a rapidly expanding and unique organisation, the Institute of Art and Ideas (IAI). In collaboration with the world’s leading thinkers, the IAI develops and identifies cutting edge ideas and conveys them to the national and international pubic through our events, festivals and our educational media platforms, described by the Guardian as “Europe's answer to TED”.

As a Digital Content Trainee you will help a small dynamic team of exceptionally talented individuals deliver strategic digital marketing campaigns and exponential website traffic growth. You will contribute to the digital offering of the IAI and drive ongoing success through response to web analytics.

The ideal candidate will have 6months of experience working in digital marketing and would be able to show evidence of planning and delivering successful campaigns.

Familiarity with analytics software such as Google Analytics would be advantageous, but the analytic ability to interpret and respond to data patterns to help optimize web traffic is essential. Use of content management systems such as Silverstripe is highly desirable along with some understanding of SEO principles. Above all we are looking for someone with flair and drive who is excited by our work and the potential for the web to be the driving force of commercial and cultural change.

We are looking for candidates who will be excited by the potential of this role and the talent to be able to deliver. For the right candidate there is a huge opportunity for the role to develop. The IAI is a talent pool where we favour internal promotions to external hires, allowing many to grow rapidly from interns to managers and go on to further successful careers. All candidates will need a strong academic background with at least a 2.1 from a leading university.

Committed to realising the creative potential of the 21st century media landscape. We encourage, at all times, the pursuit of intellectual and imaginative daring.
