As a graduate, you will join the research team in our Connections division, where you will learn how to track down the most relevant people to help investors answer questions across a wide range of industry sectors.


We are often asked what makes a typical Third Bridge graduate. There is no easy answer to this. Our team is diverse and international, but what they share is entrepreneurial flair and a drive to make things happen.

As a graduate, you will join the research team in our Connections division, where you will learn how to track down the most relevant people to help investors answer questions across a wide range of industry sectors.


The skills you have learned during your training will help you identify experts who are leaders in their field and can provide real value to our clients. We’ll challenge you to think creatively about each client project and look at their need from multiple perspectives. You will find ways of reaching out to these experts and connecting them with the client. You won’t be living in Excel and PowerPoint, or out of a suitcase – you’ll be on the phone having conversations about global business and sector developments. These are things you could be reading about days or months later in the pages of the Financial Times.

Over the first year your knowledge and your ability to deliver on client projects will grow exponentially. It is a process that requires you to think creatively, react thoughtfully and act decisively. Each project is a new challenge and you will not only feel that you are improving with each month, but you will be able to see it in real time on our performance tracker.


We are particularly interested in graduates with foreign language skills – these will be a real advantage, but not essential. What is vital is that you show the right personal qualities and competencies. We’ve been doing this a while, so we know what kind of person will thrive and succeed here.
