Tech Connect provides specialized Java training and career development for under-represented technology talent interested in driving innovation through technology.

Key Qualifications

  • A well-rounded academic background — a minimum 2:1 Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in your undergraduate degree is required; you should be in your final year of study and be available to start on the graduate programme in September 2018
  • MIS, Science, Engineering or Math majors are preferred – other majors will be considered
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced collaborative environment
  • Interested in technology and want to build your coding skills
  • A quick learner with a desire to solve problems

Our Tech Connect program is designed to open the door to a career in technology. You’ll learn to read, write and understand basic Java, using it to create websites, develop apps and test programs. You’ll receive support and coaching from senior business leaders as you develop your skills and build your professional network.

After completing your induction you’ll join our full-time two year Technology Analyst Program, where you’ll receive in-depth training and sharpen your skill set. You’ll also be welcomed into our unique experiential learning program, Force for Good, where you’ll be placed on agile project teams to develop real world solutions for clients from the social good sector.
