We’re offering you the opportunities to give your degree qualification a boost by not only giving you a years work experience but giving you the opportunities to enhance your skills, industry knowledge, and contribute to a great team. A placement with Instron will give you insight to what it’s like working in a global company. If you impress us on your placement you have even get the opportunity to go on to full time employment with Instron once you graduate.
You must be currently in your second year of study, on course to achieve a 2:1 Bachelors degree in a subject.
For Engineering placements, this could be in a broad-based subject (e.g. Cybernetics or Mechatronics), in a specific traditional subject like Materials Science, Mechanical or Electronic Engineering or in a specific non-traditional subject like Automotive Design.
For Business based placements, this could be Business Studies, Marketing, or Human Resources, or in a more general degree.
We expect our placement students to have a good grasp of theory in your chosen field, proven through good grades. But that’s not all; our placement students demonstrate;
You must also have a permanent and unrestricted right to work in the UK.
We are currently accepting applications for our Work Placement Programmes. To be eligible to apply, you must have permanent and an unrestricted right to work in the UK and be on course to achieve a 2:1 Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a suitable degree.
Please be aware that we will ask for proof of your right to work in the UK and evidence of your degree certification before you join us.
