Picnic is the first 100% online grocery store in the Netherlands. Our aim is to turn customers into fans. We do this by combining an efficient online purpose-built supply chain with customer-oriented systems, processes and love. In doing so we also want to positively impact our environment. Picnic’s fully electric delivery fleet is just one example of that.

What’s your challenge?

We are looking for a level A player to support our social media efforts. This entails running and expanding our social media channels for overall customer happiness and branding. You will create engaging content that makes our customers feel like part of Picnic and non-customers wanting to join Picnic. Additionally, you will shape our future Social tech stack by assessing next level tools & technology.

What will you be doing?

  • Run campaigns on Facebook, Google, Instagram, Linkedin, Youtube, Musically, Twitter and other platforms
  • Analyze and optimize campaigns to realize higher engagement rates
  • Own the creative part of the content creation; craft the right message & visual for the right audience
  • Liaise with your Picnic colleagues to figure out interesting new features for high performing content
  • Own the production part of the content creation (creating video’s, photos, copy) and manage it in a timely manner so our media always is interesting & fresh
  • Create next level content and strategies to keep Picnic ahead of the game

Your mentality

  • You can empathize with others and understand the fundamentals of persuasion
  • You’re hands-on and take initiative to build things that have immediate purpose
  • You are structured and can set up systems & processes to reach consistent results
  • You’re a real team player with superb communication skills

Your skills & background

  • Bachelors or Master student
  • Native Dutch, Preferably living in Amsterdam
  • Creative to the max
  • Word fanatic, and preferably a grammar perfectionist
  • Able to perform an Excel analysis
  • Familiarity with DTP, video production & photo production
  • You have a cool side project which shows your passion for social media
  • Heavy instagram user
