Our Water Engineering team is involved in some of the UK’s most complex and stimulating projects that are diverse and technically demanding. We have an enviable reputation in the delivery of such schemes and are working closely with a number of the larger water companies including Thames Water, Southern Water, Welsh Water, South West Water and Severn Trent Water, undertaking a vast array of projects to enhance the UK’s water supply and wastewater service.

Key Qualifications / Experience Requirements:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or similar engineering discipline.

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Be a key member of a dynamic and growing engineering team in the South East of England, serving the UK’s largest water and sewerage utility companies.
  • Work on some of the industry’s most iconic projects in a highly collaborative and supportive multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Develop innovative and entrepreneurial thinking and behaviour.
  • Practical application of the design skills and approaches that you’ve learnt at university to support project delivery (investigation, analysis and design) and solve problems. This will include contributing to the resolution of issues on projects and providing technical guidance to other team members.
  • Undertake peer checks and reviews of completed engineering work and reports to ensure that the high-quality standards we set ourselves are upheld.
  • Prepare high quality, accurate documentation and design reports.
  • Develop your commercial acumen, project management and leadership skills.
  • Acquire knowledge, develop practical skills and undertake training to gain Chartership or equivalent professional qualifications.
  • Become completely familiar and compliant with Health and Safety regulations and to promote a culture of safety awareness within your team.
  • Build on your communication style as you learn to adapt such that you maintain effective dialogue about your projects with internal and external clients, whatever the situation.
  • Have the opportunity to interact with and learn from your international colleagues, including incorporating our wider team members from Bangalore and Manilla in to your work.
  • Build your profile in the industry, keep up-to-date with innovations and developments.
  • Develop a breadth of skill and experience that will allow you to influence and take control of your career direction to meet your aspirations.

Graduate Programme

We have a two year development programme for our Graduates, during which time you will be fully supported in working towards various accreditation routes. Our Graduate programmes have helped over 300 people through their accreditation exams since 2011.
