About the job

As New Product Introduction (NPI) Planning intern you will work in a dynamic, informal setting with a broad set of responsibilities As a main support of the NPI planning managers you will have the opportunity to co-lead product innovation and renovation projects execution for Q2 and Q3 2018 for the A brands Nutrilon, Olvarit & Bambix. Your goal is to ensure on-time delivery of the projects with a focus on costs and quality. You will engage in cross-functional teams with Marketing, Sales and Supply Chain, manage the total project timelines and pro-actively handle risks and deviations from the plan.

Together with the factories, you define optimal planning parameters and take the right corrective actions to avoid both out of stocks and write-offs during change-over periods. Clear and timely communication to ensure project deadlines are met and challenges will be handled is key in this role.

It will be a challenging internship, but we will make sure you will get the right level of support to meet both personal and company objectives!

So, what’s your role?

  • Ensure on-time delivery of the projects, while meeting costs and quality targets
  • Create planning tools to follow-up the execution of innovations or renovations projects for 2018
  • Engage with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain and Factories to ensure project deadlines are met
  • Manage inventory levels of finished goods and packaging of the renovated or to-be delisted items, in close cooperation with the factories and/or local teams
  • Provide analyses to drive supply chain and business decisions / results

About you

You are a Bachelor or Master university degree Supply Chain Management or Business related. You are fluent in English, you have experience with Excel and ready to start February 2018 for 6 months. It would be great if you have some experience in supply chain, like a previous internship. You possess analytical skills, you are process oriented and you have a business mindset. You are a good communicator to different levels in the organization and not afraid to manage in parallel daily operations and projects coordination.
