Reporting to the HR Officer, to provide a continuously improving HR service to employees and managers

  • Supporting coordination of recruitment on site;
  • Site point of contact for the time attendance system (e-time);
  • To coordinate CES Darlington payroll and onesource records (data management system);
  • Maintain headcount report and training records;
  • Supporting the department on ongoing projects;
  • Supporting the absence management process;
  • Updating notice boards / sending out all employee emails / letters;
  • Arranging onboarding and inductions for new starters - functional / HR and H&S
  • Organising service award ceremonies;
  • Issuing references on request (visa, relocation and employment);
  • Supporting office development projects;
  • Co-ordinating community involvement and ‘Every Employee Every Community’ events;
  • Supporting the team in employee relation issues;
  • Orders corporate clothing and entry passes for employees;
  • Coordinate the sites recognition committee
  • Partake in safety related checks and projects
  • Coordination of invoices through the companies Ariba system;

Qualifications

  • Working towards a HRM or Business related degree is essential (2 nd year completed)
  • GCSE Maths, English and Science essential
  • Experience using Microsoft office, including Excel, Word and Powerpoint
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential
