Area of work

From our Supply Chain & Operations competency, we help leading practices across the globe at optimizing the Supply Chains and Operations of our client. In a multidisciplinary context, we analyze their Supply Chain and design and implement appropriate solutions. We base our services on our solid knowledge of Supply Chain Management often in combination with relevant sector expertise. Depending on the issues and needs of our client, we complement our Supply Chain & Operations expertise with our experience in areas such as taxation, M&A, financial management, risk management and ERP. We provide integrated services that result in a rapid improvement in profitability and performance, in which we focus on linking strategy to operational performance and the effective implementation of solutions. We work internationally closely with other EY Supply Chain & Operations practices. In addition to the traditional Supply Chain Services including, Supply Chain Strategy, S&OP, Logistics Outsourcing, Operational Excellence, Sourcing & Procurements, etc., we also provide services in areas such as: Cost to Service, Global Trade Efficiency, Integrated Manufacturing Systems, Operating Model Effectiveness (OME) and Supply Chain Risk Management. Our approach is always focused on the internal and external environment of our clients – by working together, we provide advice that meets their specific requirements. For our growing Supply Chain & Operations practice in Amsterdam, we are looking for a Advisor to join our team.

Position

As an Advisor, you work independently and in a team at the client. You combine various skills, such as analytical skills (quantitative and qualitative) to help structure and analyze the problems of the customer and communication skills to present your recommendation to the client. In this way you help clients to improve their efficiency, quality and reliability of their processes, alignment between processes and achieve cost savings. You work in an international environment on projects with a major impact on business results. ProfileFor this position we would like to get in touch ambitious Young Professionals who possess:

Strong affinity with Supply Chain Management, which is reflected in your study and/or (work) experience

Excellent analytical capabilities, drive, enthusiasm, conceptual thinking, communication and influencing skills

A proven ability to team effectively with diverse teams

Experience with tools such as Excel, Powerpoint, Word and Microsoft Visio

Prepared to work internationally and fluent in Dutch and EnglishAdditional language skills would be an advantage – particularly German/ French/ Spanish/ Polish

A Strong academic record such as a degree is required and a Master of Science Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, (Industrial) Engineering or a similar would be an advantage

Extracurricular activities, such as membership of student-, university or sport associations and/or a relevant internship

Interest
